the elevation but contributes to part of the height increase. Styles with a
lower heel height will be more discrete. How is shaft measured?

Too heavy and unevenly distributed weigh
Most of the increase in height comes from a heel that is meaningfully higher than the front of the foot. This also means unfortunately that all of the weight is in the heel. If you look at the physiology of the foot, the front of the foot is lower and also has to lug the weight of the heel. This makes for a very uneven stride and uncomfortable weight distribution. Also means the feet and ankles are sore after a very short period
Too heavy
I love the looks of these boots and I bought them for work. I found wearing them for 8 hours are uncomfortable and for sure too heavyweight
